SAO 49921 is a 9th magnitude star in the constellation Cygnus. It is a yellowish white star of the spectral type F7V, meaning its possesses a surface temperature of 6,000 to 7,500 kelvins. It is a main sequence star, like our Sun, but dimmer and slightly hotter.[1] It can be found within 30 arcminutes of the star Deneb.[2]
