I was born and brought up in Ahmedabad, India on December 4, 1981. I went to the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur from 2000 to 2004 for my undergraduate studies. I graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 2004 with a B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technology) in Biotechnology. After that I worked for 2 years at i-flex Solutions, a subsidiary of Oracle Corporation. I have been studying since August, 2006 in the Master of Bioscience program offered at the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences .
