I am the former User:Sand777. Sadly, I cannot log into my old username since the Wikipedia e-mails sending me the new password appear to be getting filtered out by the e-mail address I had previously registered under that username. There is no way to change that e-mail address since I am locked out. (Sigh!)

I am a research physicist with a doctorate in physics and a personal interest in ancient literature (Mesopotamian and Hebrew literature, Greek mythology, Homer, etc.). As much as I love physics, I sometimes wish I had studied literature instead. But physics is great! My work is aimed toward space exploration, solving relevant physics to support the development of the needed technology. Because of my personal interest in ancient literature, I have been working on an hypothesis about the statistical features of some numbers in an ancient text and I hope to get it prepared for submission to a journal in the next couple years (time permitting!). My wife and children are more important than this research, so it's hard to find lots of time to work on it.
