"The description associated with a link should be kept to a minimum, just sufficient to allow the reader to find the correct link."[1] is true. However, "minimum" must still be long enough to allow the reader to find the correct link. The correct link is the blue one (each entry needs to have a blue link), and shortening the description to remove the only blue link is a bad idea. Also, keep the group header formatting in line with the MOS, etc. -- JHunterJ (talk) 21:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

- I don't consider "one of the Guyanan football clubs with a player on the Guyana national football team" to be a useful description of that team. The player concerned has no article either. Since each line needs a bluelink, I've deleted the line.
- Though the example at MOS:DAB#Longer lists uses the group header formatting "In X" rather than "X", I don't think the implication is that all DABs must use "In X". In many cases a bare X reads better (e.g. "In other" vs Other"; "In people" vs "People").

- I don't mind if the entry is deleted, although I was considering the intent of the editor who added it in the first place when finding a blue link to use. If you disagree with the implication that all dabs must use "In X:", that's one thing. "In other" should indeed be fixed, to "In other uses:", and "In people:" doesn't read worse that "People:" -- JHunterJ (talk) 11:54, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
