Talk:Sanjeev Kumar (actor)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thanks for the corrections Zora, I feel foolish for having used numerics instead of spelling out numbers. I'm wondering, though, there is a lot of references in this article to the actor playing "hero" instead of the lead or starring role; is this a normal term in Bollywood (which i'm not familiar with I'm afraid) or just a word the original writer really, really liked? :)--ByrdMeln 05:34, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

- If you want to change it to lead instead of hero, that would be fine -- probably more encyclopedic :) As for not spelling out -- I didn't know that until I bought my own copy of the Chicago Manual of Style and started learning to do professional copyediting. It does look nicer, I think. Zora 07:56, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
The article seemed substandard, so I rewrote it. As a first pass it's probably OK, but other editors will probably find ways to improve it. Zora 00:41, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
- Sanjeev Kumar did nine roles in movie, Naya Din Nayi Raat. I am not sure of the name of the movie. He played drunk, dancer, wrestler and so on. The story involved a girl escaped from her home, while she visits different places, she bumps into Sanjeev Kumar in a different role. At the end of the movie, all Sanjeev Kumars take a group photo in her wedding. The hit song of the movie might be the title song sung by drunk. Npindia 16:53, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
