Could use a picture but I'm not gonna upload one as Wikipedia's picture policy drives me insane. Redwolf24 07:01, 11 July 2005 (UTC)

The picture now is fine but quite a bit outdated. I saw her on tv a few years back with fairly long hair (at least to her neck), maybe even red. I haven't looked up the nitty gritty details for Wikipedia re: pics, so good luck finding a better picture. Armslurp 03:11, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Glass eye?

Can anyone determine whether Duncan's glass eye is real or apocryphal? The IMDb biography indicates that this is an urban legend... -Hedgey42 17:15, 17 July 2005 (UTC)

This interview quotes Sandy Duncan explaining that she does not have a glass eye:
What a vision! And speaking of visions . . . your ‘fake eye’ was the object of a joke on Family Guy. Are you aware of this?
Yes. My son called me from Tulane and told me. I didn’t see it. I know they did some silly joke – many people think I have a glass eye. I had a tumor in my left eye which killed the optic nerve, but it’s my real eye. I just cannot see out of it. It remains a period of adjustment – sometimes things will be just out of range. I have no depth perception, so I have to memorize and track where things are, sort of like radar. I recently had cataracts in my good eye and they removed them and replaced the lens and I can actually see without glasses, and I have worn them since I was 12! But like all mortals my age, I still need them to read.

[edit] she doesn't have a glass eye

The wiki page should be edited accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.229.113.74 (talk) 18:09, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] IMDb link removed

The Internet Movie Database is not considered a reliable source of information for biographical details such a this due to the fact the information is not provided with verification. The glass eye rumor may be just that, a rumor, but we need a better source than the IMDb, so I have placed the Citation Needed tag next to the statement and removed the link under the "poorly sourced" provisions of WP:BLP as detailed in the banner at the top of this page. 23skidoo (talk) 07:20, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
