[edit] sinking?

I believe that i have heard that this island is slowly being enveloped by the sea, im trying to find acts to this though.--Norton112200 13:54, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Scientists believe that you're right because of the high winds and heavy waves. No, I don't know when they think this will happen.

[edit] Satellite images

I'm rather amazed by the statement "Satellite images reveal a runway and several buildings are present on the island." I've landed at the airport (flights originate at Naval Air Station Point Mugu), and I've slept and eaten inside some of the buildings. It's not as if it were a secret.--Curtis Clark 22:42, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
