[edit] GA on hold

Hello. I will be reviewing this article, and I have currently placed it on hold. Here are some things I believe need to be fixed:

  • Per WP:LEAD, the lead for this article should be approximately 3-4 full paragraphs. Also, they need to adequately summarize all the main points of he article.
  • Some of the bigger pictures in the article need to be resized so they are smaller. They are overwhelming the text.
  • References need to be in numerical order. For example, [6][7][1][8][9] should be [1][6][7][8][9].
  • In the second to last paragraph of the History section, the [4] external link should be converted to an in-line citation. The [6] external link in the SFZC today section also needs to be converted.
  • In the Friends of SFZC section, Kannon Do should be unlinked. External links do not belong in the article itself.
  • According to Wikipedia:When to use tables, Many times, a list is best left as a list. Some articles include very long lists which might be difficult to edit if they were in table form. Therefore, I would convert the Alumni table into a simple list.
  • External Links should be below Further Reading.

I'm going to assume that when refs are at the end of a paragraph, they cite all the information in the entire paragraph. Therefore, the biggest problems in the article are with MoS, which I have listed above. The hold will last one week, and then I will fail or pass the article. If the article is still being actively edited, I have no problem giving more time to complete these tasks. Thanks. Nikki311 16:51, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm failing the article as none of the points were addressed. Once these are completed, feel free to renominate. Nikki311 16:10, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
