Sanyutei Encho

Sanyutei Encho (三遊亭圓朝 San'yūtei Enchō, April 1, 1839 – August 11, 1900) was a Japanese author / rakugo performer of the late Edo and early Meiji eras. Notable works include Japanese horror classics, Botan Dōrō (The Peony Lantern).
