Sanuki, Kagawa

Sanuki (さぬき市 Sanuki-shi?) is a city located in Kagawa, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 57,382 and the density of 361.32 persons per km². The total area is 158.81 km².
The city was founded on April 1, 2002 and is the merger of five towns from the western part of the former Ōkawa District: Shido, Tsuda, Nagao, Sangawa, and Ōkawa.[1]
