Santo Amaro is a parish in the eastern part of the district of São Roque do Pico in the Azores. The population in 2001 is 329, its density is 25.9/km² and the area is 12.7 km². It is the leastly populated parish in the municipality and is also the largest in area in the municipality. The parish is located in the eastern part of the municipality and is linked with a road encircling the entire island. The area are hilly and mountainous in the south. Farmlands are within the parish as well as the road. Forests dominates the mountain areas. The Atlantic Ocean lies to the north.
