Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo

Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo was born on January 10, 1887 in the country estate of Vistabella, province of Aija, department of Ancash.

His secondary education realized it in the convent of San Agustín of Huaraz and in the school Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe in Lima.

Later, in the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, he received the Golden medal graduating with a degree in Mathematical Sciences in the year 1906. He specialized in the Institute Electrotécnico of the University of Grenoble in France.

He developed first idea about the neutron.
