Santa Rita, Chalatenango

Santa Rita is a municipality in the Chalatenango department of El Salvador.

Santa Rita is one of the largest mucipalities of chalatenango,it has a more villages than its neibors,(los citios de abajo,los perazas,el chupadero,el chilamate,san miguel tobias,san nicolas piedras gordas,tasajeras, el tronconal,el cobano and its newly created village of el sol that was built by the mayor Adolfo Guardado, in the^[1] late nineties; for people that did not have a home, and its located on the shores of lake suchitlan the larges lake of el salvador
