Santa Monica Handicap

The Santa Monica Handicap is a race for thoroughbred race horses run at a distance of seven furlongs on the dirt at Santa Anita Park. The Grade I race is open to fillies and mares age, four and up, and offers a purse of $250,000. The Santa Monica is an integral part of the very strong distaff division at Santa Anita.
