Santa Maria College, Melbourne

Santa Maria College is a Roman Catholic all girls school. It is situated in the inner-northern Melbourne suburb of Northcote. Established in 1904 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, it now caters for over 970 students. Santa Maria's motto "Dare to do as much as you are able" encourages all students to reach the sky, and to follow their dreams.
Santa Maria is a school which caters for girls with a variety of interests.
More than 14 different sports are offered, throughout the year, some of which include; basketball, cross country, soccer, football, hockey, volleyball, indoor soccer, netball, softball, athletics, swimming, diving, indoor cricket and super 8's.
The various debating teams, compete in both in school (inter-house) debates and out of school debates representing Santa Maria in various divisions.
