Santa Lucia del Mela is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 170 km east of Palermo and about 25 km west of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,759 and an area of 82.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Santa Lucia del Mela contains the frazione (subdivision) San Giovanni (Pancaldo).
