Santa Fe Christian Schools

Santa Fe Christian Schools is a private, college preparatory, Christian school, located in Solana Beach, California. It serves approximately 1000 students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Founded in 1977, Santa Fe Christian Schools is a coeducational independent college preparatory school serving 995 students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The Lower School serves students in grades K-5, the Middle School, grades 6-8 and the Upper School, grades 9-12. The campus is currently undergoing construction and a building campaign. A new Upper School building opened in 2006. A new library and science center have also opened within the past few years.

The school mascot is the Eagle. The school has gained recognition in the past few years for its various successes in its athletic programs. The women's volleyball program has won the state title in 2003 Div. V, 2005 Div. V under Coach Diane Pasqua and 2007 Div. IV under Coach Gail Malone. The football team plays in Division IV although Santa Fe's size qualifies the team as a Division V program. The football program is currently headed by coach Brian Sipe, who played in the NFL for the Browns.

Students at Santa Fe Christian have the option of taking Advanced Placement classes in high school. AP exams offered in the past few years at Santa Fe include: English Language and Composition, English Literature, World History, Art: Studio Drawing, Biology, Chemistry, Calculus AB and BC, Satistics, Spanish Language, Government, US History. The student to teacher ratio is 13:1.
