Santa Cruz County Symphony

Founded in 1958, the Santa Cruz County Symphony celebrates it's 50th season beginning September 2007. This professional symphony orchestra has been under the guidance of John Larry Granger, Music Director since 1991. The Santa Cruz County Symphony performs at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium and the Mello Center for the Performing Arts in Watsonville, California. Five regular-season concerts, a benefit concert and low-cost family concert are performed each year. The Symphony's free youth program introduces elementary school children to symphonic music via musician & docent school visits and a free concert.
