Santa Ana High School is the oldest and largest high school in Orange County. The school was established in 1889.

Its has been claim that Santa Ana High School is haunted by two ghost. The origins of the first ghost date back to World War II when a female student named Alice killed herself through hanging by the neck in the school auditorium. The second ghost story says that a teacher died of a heartattack the last day of school before winter vacation and his body was discovered when school resumed in January.

2002-2003: Students almost walkout in protest of the beginnings of the Iraq War.
2003-2004: Students walkout in protest of paying fees for the AP exams.

2005-2006: Student walkout in protest of immigration issues.
[edit] Santa Ana High School vs. Saddleback High School Rilvary
Both high school are located in opposite ends in the city of Santa Ana and have been locked in a fued for numerous years now. Usually, the pinnicle of the rilvary occurs every year at the yearly football game.
