Sant'Agata Fossili is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km southeast of Turin and about 30 km southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 425 and an area of 8.0 km².[1]

The municipality of Sant'Agata Fossili contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Podigliano, Torre Sterpi, and Giusolana.
