Sant'Adriano al Foro

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sant'Adriano al Foro was a basilica in Rome built by Pope Honorius I in 630 AD. Its name refers to the martyr Adrian of Nicomedia; al Foro refers to the fact that it was built in the ancient forum of Curia Julia. Its structure was modified multiple times before it was demolished in the 1930s to recover the ancient structure of the building.
