Sanphet VIII was the King of Ayutthaya from 1703 to 1709 and the third ruler of the Ban Phlu Luang Dynasty. Sanphet was born with the name Luang Sorasak or Phrachao Sua, but took his regnal name upon coronation. He was nicknamed "The Tiger King".
