Sanmesh Kalyanpur

Sanmesh Kalyanpur is the recipient of the prestigious Sanjay Chopra Award 2005 which was presented to him by the Hon. Prime Minister of India. He was later honoured with the Maharashtra Gaurav Award.
The President of India has selected him for the Jeevan Raksha Padak 2006 which was presented to him on the occasion of the Republic Day 2007.
Born on 18th October 1990, Sanmesh has spent his childhood at Talmakiwadi, the cultural capital of Chitrapur Saraswats.
A student of St. Xaviers High School and K C College, Mumbai, Sanmesh is a sportsman par excellence. He was part of the School Cricket team which won the Inter-School Harris Shield Plate Division. Sanmesh is a good tennis player too.
Sanmesh is an ardent devotee of Shrimat Sadyojat Shankarashram Swamiji the Mathadhipati of Shri Chitrapur Math.
