Coordinates: Located on National Highway 4, Sankeshwar is located in Belgaum District of Karnataka. It is 50 km north of Belgaum and is between Kanangle and Yamkanmardi. The place shows traits of Jain influence and this is exemplified by the Parshwanath Temple located here. Hukkeri, a tourist spot, is 13 km away. Belgaum Airport is the nearest airport. Closest major railheads are Belgaum Railway Station and Gokak Road Railway Station. Pachchapur is a small station nearby.
