Sanjay Kirloskar is the chairman and managing director of Kirloskar Brothers Limited, the flagship & holding company of the Kirloskar Group.

Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar has led Kirloskar Brothers LTD since 1983. Under his leadership Kirloskar Brothers has come to become one of the fastest growing companies in India. Kirloskar Brothers acquired SPP Pumps(UK) in 2002 and then Aban Construction, one of India's leading construction companies in 2006, followed by Gondwana Engineers Limited (Water Treatment& Sewage Treatment) and The Kolhapur Steels limited in 2007. For the last 5 years Kirloskar Brothers has shown an average RONW (Return on Net Worth) of 32% although it was 54.83% from 2004-2005.

He is accredited for moving Kirloskar Brothers from being just a pump& valve manufacturer to an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor. Today Kirloskar Brothers is India's largest Pump& Valve manufacturer and the World's third largest Pump manufacturer by market capitalization.

Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar is the son of Chandrakant Kirloskar and the grandson of Shantanurao Laxmanrao Kirloskar.
