SBI – Northloop, which opened in 2003, provides programs in a variety of medical professions. The original Sanford-Brown Institute began in 1977 in New York.[1] The school is a for-profit postsecondary learning institution. SBI offers several campuses throughout the United States.

SBI – Northloop offers choices in a variety of healthcare programs. If attended on a full-time basis, programs can typically be completed in as little as 9 to 20 months. Programs include hands-on instruction in laboratory settings and many include full-time unpaid externships. Sanford-Brown Institute provides Career Services to aid students in obtaining employment.[2]

On campus, there are four classrooms, a computer lab, a wet lab, a surgical operating room, a Resource Center and a student lounge. Classrooms are equipped with industry-current tools. Accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award certificates.[4] The Medical Assistant and the Surgical Technology programs are accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.
