Sanford-Brown College - Fenton is a private career-focused school located in Fenton, Missouri. The Fenton campus opened in 2000 and is part of the Sanford-Brown College systems. The college uses the quarter as its basic academic term and one quarter is equivalent to ten weeks of instruction and/or examinations. Both day and evening programs are offered at the Fenton campus.

Sanford-Brown College - Fenton is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Career College Association, Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel, Missouri Association of Private Career Schools, National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and Fenton Chamber of Commerce.[1]

Accredited programs at the Fenton campus include: The Radiography program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The Respiratory Therapy program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). The Massage Therapy program has been approved by the Missouri Board of Therapeutic Massage.

Sanford-Brown College - Fenton is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award diplomas, associate degrees, and bachelor’s degrees.

Sanford-Brown College is approved to operate in the State of Missouri by the Missouri Department of Higher education and approved, certified, or recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Justice (The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service, formerly the INS,) Vocational Rehabilitation Departments of Missouri and Illinois, Missouri State Approving Agency (Veterans Education Benefits) and Workforce Investment Act.

The admission requirements for attending are an application for admission, enrollment agreement, high school diploma, college transcripts and/or letters demonstrating work experience, financial aid forms, a satisfactory personal interview with a school official, achievement of minimum test scores on entrance exam, and a statement of general health.

Allied health program admission requirements health career programs:

  • Applicants must sign a statement of general health
  • Applicants to the following programs require a background check

Additional requirements: Respiratory Therapy and Radiography Students:

  • All applicants must meet the College’s requirements for admission
  • Applicants must achieve a passing score on the HOBET entrance examination with a minimum score of 50 for the Respiratory Therapy program and a minimum score of 55 for the Radiography program.

Radiography applicants must:

  • Complete an interview process with Radiography staff
  • Be at least 18 years of age (official birth certificate is required)
  • Must participate in a pre-clinical physical exam and provide documentation of required immunizations.[3]

Sanford-Brown College - Fenton occupies approximately 55,000 square feet. The campus includes nine classrooms for lectures, eight medical labs and six computer labs. The EMS lab contains a fully equipped ambulance.[4]

The student organizations at the Fenton campus include the SBC Student Ambassadors Program, American Medical Technologist Organization, Lamda Beta Society (Respiratory Therapy Students), and SLAC (Student Leadership and Achievement Council).[5]
