Sandymount railway station

Sandymount railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Dhumhach Thrá) serves Sandymount, Ballsbridge, and Simmonscourt in County Dublin, Ireland. There is a level crossing as the railway line crosses Sandymount Avenue. The station was reopened from a long period of closure with the electrification of Dublin suburban rail services - DART - in 1984.

Sandymount Halt was originally opened in January 1835.[1]
