Charles "Sandy" Plunkett (born October 18, 1955) is an American artist and comics writer.
Plunkett grew up in New York City and began to draw comics at the end of high school.[citations needed]
He made his debut in the comic book world in the late 1970s, with several works for Marvel, DC and Gold Key comics. In the 1980s and 1990s he worked mostly for Marvel, occasionally writing some stories as well as drawing — mainly for covers. Plunkett moved to southeast Ohio in 1990, where he worked on CD covers, political cartoons, business logos, and t-shirts.[citations needed]
