Sandy Carpet

Sandy Carpet (Perizoma flavofasciata) is a species of moth. Its wingspan is 26-32 mm. Adults of this species are sand colored with white bands. It is found in most of Europe and northern Africa. It is scarce and overwinters as a pupa. Its flight period is from late May to early August.
