Sandoval Guitars is a manufacturer of electric guitars founded in 1979 and made famous by Randy Rhoads. Karl Sandoval is a luthier who had worked for Charvel guitars quit to become a self employed luthier. Karl has made custom guitars for Randy Rhoads, George Lynch, Eddie Van Halen, Michael Anthony, Tracy G. (Dio), Rusty Anderson (Paul McCartney), Billy Gibbons, Lita Ford, Daron Malakian and others. Karl is most famous for building Randy Rhoads' Polka Dot V.
