Budgets• 20% will be funded by the Government of the Republic of Yemen while the remaining 80% will be funded by Arab Fund for Economic & Social Development, Kuwait.

Phases • Phase[ I] Strengthen runway ‘ aprone and parallel taxiway • Phase[ II] is a new passenger International Terminal Building • Phase[ III] is Airfield Infrastructure and Ancillary Buildings

Construction schedule The anticipated commencement date of the construction works will be 24 months with a subsequent maintenance period of 12 months for civil / construction work and 24 month for electrical, electronic and mechanical ( Equipment and Instillation) works.
