San Remigio is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 47,826 people.

San Remigio boasts of having Cebu's longest shoreline. Beaches there are described as 'naturally extraordinaire'. Resorts includes San Remigio Beach Club, Victoria Hard Rock Beach Resort and Fishing Village, Warren's Beach Resort, and Verdimar Resort. Additionally, public beaches still in a long stretch of white sand are also available for any locals and tourists. This days San Remigio is a new diving destination. There are few marine sanctuaries and a new PADI dive shop in San Remigio beach club resort. In the water you can see shark ray(guitarfish),white tip reef sharks, Bamboo shark,schools of Barracuda, Whale sharks, Manta ray and more.

The town of San Remigio has plenty of public elementary and secondary schools. Secondary schools noteworthy to mention because of their performance includes the San Remigio National High School (located in the town proper) and the Luyang National High School (located in Barangay Luyang, about 22 kilometers from the municipal hall).ther are many public elemetary scholl.
