San Ramon Valley Unified School District is a district in Contra Costa County in California. It is comprised of 29 school sites serving more than 21,000 students within the communities of Alamo, Danville, and San Ramon. The SRVUSD ranks among the top 5% of all school districts in California, and the top 2% of all unified districts in the state according to the 2005 California Academic Performance Index. Over 94% of the graduating seniors attend college or university. The district has been awarded honors such as the coveted California Distinguished School Award, and recognition by the U.S. Department of Education through their Blue Ribbon Schools Program.
