The system of school is: 2 years in Kindergarten, 6 years in elementary and 4 years in high school. There are 4 Gradings every school year. The students will have a test each Grading (this applies to students from Grade 1st to 4th). The 4th Grading is the most important because it decides whether a student can go to the next grade/year.

Usually everyone wants to study further after high school but can't afford it.

The Philippines is not a poor country but more likely to afford better facilities for its people but corruption is the big issue.

For example, before the current Mayor Ronie Balasico (San Rafael's Mayor) is elected for mayor. San Rafael has a high standard for cleanliness and good facilities.
