He was born and raised in San Francisco's Fillmore District.

He made his first appearance as an opening to Tupac and Digital Underground at the age of 12 and recorded his first album at only 14 years old. Part of the "Get Low Playaz" with JT The Bigga Figga, and D-Moe. Quinn holds the record for most appearances on different albums as well as most albums sold out of a single store (Rasputin's in San Francisco) on its debut when "I Give You My Word" outsold 50 Cent's "The Massacre."[citation needed] CEO of Done Deal Ent. which consists of Rappers Big Rich, Don Toriano, Boxx Kev and Quinn's cousin Ya Boy who is also signed to Game/JT's label "The Blackwall street." Quinn's most notable track is "Shock the Party" in which the video was filmed in the Uptown Projects.
Quinn moved on from rapping to producing his cousin Messy Marv's solo albums.
