San Pablo Villa de Mitla

San Pablo Villa de Mitla is a town and a municipality (municipio) and town in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It is located approximately 45 km (28 mi) by road from the state capital, the city of Oaxaca.

It is internationally renowned for the archaeological site of Mitla, which combines Zapotec and Mixtec structures.

As municipal seat, Mitla has governing jurisdiction over the following communities:

Don Pedrillo, El Rosario, El Tequio, San José del Paso, San Miguel Albarradas, Santa María Albarradas, Unión Zapata (Loma Larga) and Xaagá
