San Lorenzo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Calabria in the Italian region Calabria, located about 120 km southwest of Catanzaro and about 20 km southeast of Reggio Calabria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,141 and an area of 64.2 km².[1]

The municipality of San Lorenzo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Pantaleone, SantaMaria, San Fantino, Lanzina, and Marina di San Lorenzo.

San Lorenzo borders the following municipalities: Bagaladi, Condofuri, Melito di Porto Salvo, Montebello Ionico, Roccaforte del Greco.
