San Leonardo (Slovene: Šentlenart, or also Podutana) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 km northwest of Trieste and about 25 km east of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,215 and an area of 27.0 km².[1] According to the census 1971 85,5% of the population are Slovenians.

San Leonardo borders the following municipalities: Grimacco, Prepotto, San Pietro al Natisone, Savogna di Cividale, Stregna.
