San Ignacio de Sabaneta

San Ignacio de Sabaneta is a municipality (municipio) and the capital of the Santiago Rodríguez province in the Dominican Republic.[1]

As of the 2002 census the municipality had 35,654 inhabitants, 16,270 living in the city itself and 19,384 in its rural districts (Secciones).[2] For comparison with other municipalities and municipal districts see the list of municipalities and municipal districts of the Dominican Republic.
