San Giorgio di Mantova is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 130 km east of Milan and about 3 km east of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,195 and an area of 24.5 km².[1]

The municipality of San Giorgio di Mantova contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Caselle, Casette, Ghisiolo, Mottella (Sede Municipale), Tripoli, Villanova De Bellis, and Villanova Maiardina.
