The 5th San Francisco Film Critics Circle Awards, honoring the best in film for 2006, were given on 12 December 2006.

Todd Field's Little Children received 3 awards, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor (Jackie Earle Haley). Helen Mirren won the award for Best Actress for her role in The Queen and Paul Greengrass (United 93) got the award for Best Director.
