San Francisco Breeders' Cup Mile

The San Francisco Breeders' Cup Mile is a Grade II race for Thoroughbred horses held on the grass at Golden Gate Fields in Albany, California. For four-year-olds and upwards, it's Northern California's richest race, run at a distance of one mile on the turf. The San Francisco Mile offers a purse of $300,000 (plus $100,000 - Breeders' Cup).
Native Diver won this race in 1963 and 1967.
