San Diego Transit

San Diego Transit is a public bus service operated the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) for the San Diego area.
San Diego Transit has following operating divisions:
- Internally operated fixed route bus services consisting largely of urban and express routes in the core of the San Diego area. Bus operators are hired and managed under MTS.
- Contracted services consisting of fixed route, paratransit services, and rural services. Each in provided under a contractual basis to a transportation service provider. Veolia Transport.

- Gillig Phantom 40/102TB-currently being retired (most are from 1991, came from San Diego Transit/County Transit System, CTS buses are 35-foot, SDT buses are 40-foot)
- New Flyer Industries C40HF CNG 1401-1429 (1995, operated by San Diego Transit and Metropolitan Transportation System)
- New Flyer Industries C40LF CNG-1301-1304 (San Diego Transit, 1994), 1501-1527 (San Diego Transit, 1997), 1601-1631 (San Diego Transit, 2000), 1801-1873 (San Diego Transit, 2002), 401-441 (Metropolitan Transit System, 2005). One was converted into a CE40LF (CNG hybrid-electric) in April 2008.
