San Diego State University, College of Engineering
The College of Engineering provides San Diego State University students with a quality undergraduate and graduate engineering education, to prepare graduates for professional careers and life-long learning, to promote the creation and dissemination of knowledge, to serve society through professional practice and community outreach, and to act as a catalyst for the technological development of the San Diego region.
The College of Engineering has six programs which are ABET accredited: Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

- The Master of Engineering degree is an interdisciplinary program with the College of Engineering and the College of Business Administration.
- A joint doctoral program in Engineering Science/Applied Mechanics is available in conjunction with UCSD.
- As of 2005, several new degree programs have been established in bioengineering and in construction engineering.

- The San Diego State University Soil Erosion Research Laboratory (SDSU/SERL) integrates beneficial features from some of the premier soil erosion research facilities in the United States. The indoor laboratory facility consists of a tilting soil-test bed, portable overhead rainfall simulators, and a water treatment and storage system. This facility is the only one of its kind in the West Coast.
