San Borja is a small town and the city capital of San Borja Municipio in the Beni Department of northern Bolivia.

San Borja is located at an elevation of 195 m on the left bank of Río Maniqui, a tributary of Río Rapulo which flows into Río Mamoré.
San Borja is situated at Route 3 from La Paz to Trinidad, 230 km west of the department's capital, Trinidad. Nearest larger town is Rurrenabaque, 100 km north-west of San Borja.

The town's population has increased strongly over the past two decades, from 11,072 (1992 census) to 16,273 (2001 census) and 22,107 people (2008 estimation).[1]
