San Agustin, Las Palmas

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

San Agustin (Spanish for Saint Augustine) is the first of the towns located near the Maspalomas dunes. In addition, the town has its own beaches in three places, Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés and San Agustin.

Located south of Las Palmas, San Agustín is linked with a superhighway, the GC1 and the old highway GC-500 in the southern coast of Gran Canaria.

San Agustín, like Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés, is a tourist resort. During the day, the tourists head to the beaches, and in the evening, they and the locals amuse themselves in the bars and restaurants.
