SANAKO

SANAKO is a corporation, based in Finland, that makes language laboratory products for teaching and learning languages. The company's roots are in the Norwegian company Tandberg.

- In 1961, Tandberg created its first language lab.
- By 1979, Tandberg was a global leader in the field of language labs.
- in 1984, Tandberg Educational, the language education division of TANDBERG A/S, was sold to Teleste OY of Finland.
- In 1985, Tandberg Educational, Inc., was formed in the US.
- In 2001, Teleste's Educational assests were spun off into Divace OY as part of a management buyout.
- In 2003, Divace changes its name to SANAKO.
- In 2004, SANAKO acquires the US division, Tandberg Educational, Inc. and renames it SANAKO, Inc.
