[edit] Help
Half the Kraft foods article is gone, and I don't know why.
[edit] Categories
Hi!
Just thought I'd point out; the way that categories work is that belonging to a subcategory effectively puts an article in the parent category too. Thus, Rice Krispies already belongs to Category:breakfast cereals through belonging to Category:Kellogg cereals. See point #3 here for more details. Hope this helps! All the best. [edit] Modern Montessori School
Hi. You recently prod'ed the article Modern Montessori School. You might be interested to know that the same text is also in an article called The Modern Montessori school, if you want to tag that one too. Regards, ... discospinster talk 23:11, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Recreation of deleted user pages
Hello Samuell. I'm wondering why you recreated several pages belonging to users who have been blocked several months. For example, one blatantly malicious user was blocked 31 October 2005 and just recently got a warning to change username or be blocked from you. :) —{admin} Pathoschild 01:04, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Village pump revert
You just reverted Wikipedia:Village pump (assistance) back by about 24 hours. Was this intentional? Tra (Talk) 00:51, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- It's OK, don't worry about it. Normally, what happens is you leave it on the page and as long as no-one else responds to the thread, it will be archived after a week, then after two weeks it will be removed completely and only accessible through the page history. Tra (Talk) 23:48, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Xhosa
No problem with the new name or the necessary merge. That is good and the article is improved. Except, I believe it is Wikipedia policy not to loose any edit history. A merge is usually suggested through a label, and it is executed, or not, after discussion, and I believe by combining the edit histories. Will ask someone to recover the data. [edit] Wars of Africa set
Hi Samuell,
Thanks for your set nomination - good material, IMHO. I noticed there was a formatting problem causing redlinks, I traced it to a typo in the template which I have now (hopefully) fixed. So your set is now properly added, and I plan to review the articles myself in the next few days. In the meantime, perhaps you could look at a list I'm putting together, and give me some feedback before I propose it as a formal set nomination. As you can see, it's quite related to your set! I suspect we both want to see Africa well represented in Version 0.7. Thanks, Walkerma 05:13, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Animal Farm
Why did you vandalise the above mentioned article? Highfields 08:46, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
sorry, Highfields 19:18, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Trans Fat
In chicken (food) you said that the nutritional information may be incorrect because it has no trans fat. Trans fat is not naturally found in animal products, but instead comes from hydrogenated substances in processed foods (such as Criso). So, thanks for bringing it up, but if a piece of chicken contains trans fat, there's something really wrong with it. :) --Grendlefuzz 17:27, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sibel Edmonds
Samuell why are you reverting the talk page at sibel edmonds? Matthew Edmonds accuses me of something and I demand an answer from him, therefore I ask you to leave the talk page alone until I get an answer/apology from him. Orrin_73
[edit] Help with something
I would like to create the template for fiictional characters, but cannot it myself, for I was given the instructions, but still can't do it right. Do you think that you could?--KnowledgeLord 08:06, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your VandalProof Application
Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Samuell. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that a check of your last 5k contributions has shown that you often not warn users when reverting. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. «Snowolf How can I help?» 10:34, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Man, Moment, Machine
db-repost is not a valid speedy reason for this because it was not deleted per the AFD; it was deleted because it was a blatant copyright violation. Please use PROD or open a new AFD. Thanks, --Isotope23 16:11, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Kortbroek.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Kortbroek.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:20, 30 June 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —♦♦ SʘʘTHING(Я) 09:20, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Question
Is "disembargate" a word? I've done a google search and consulted the dictionary, and I can't find anything. CJCurrie 22:08, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Eggs
Hey Sam, I didn't remove the image. I restored it when someone else removed it. [2] :-) If you want to restore it again, it might be a good idea to find a reliable source that describes the difference in appearance, and add it as a reference to the image caption. That way, it'll be more solid in case someone objects again. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk)(contribs) 17:42, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comments Matt Sanchez
What specific comments are you talking about? All of my comments have been about the article. Matt Sanchez (talk) 23:32, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
You sent me a link to my talk page??? I have no idea what comments you're referring to. Send me something more specific.Matt Sanchez 11:07, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
I'm still confused. I saw the edits that you took off and deemed "insulting" but that was an op/ed piece I wrote and I have no idea why they would be "insulting" or get me blocked. Please explain.
The article is a current article. You didn't mention "general things and issues"? you mentioned "insults" What are you talking about? and why are you threatening me with blocking?
Matt Sanchez (talk) 23:31, 18 November 2007 (UTC) You wrote that I need to cease "inappropriate comments" Which comments are those? Why are you threatening me?
Matt Sanchez (talk) 00:33, 19 November 2007 (UTC) This is your original comments, why are you now denying them?
Please stop. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as described here, you may be blocked. Samuell 00:50, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Westgate logo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Westgate logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:35, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chinglish Page
I think the "This media has an uncertain copyright status and is pending deletion" messages on many of the photos on the Chinglish page are there in error. Mainland China and Taiwan have both released all official texts into the public domain. Please refer to the Official text copyright article for info regarding this. [edit] david hahn mugshot.jpg
Hi.
I just got a message from you regarding this image's fair use rationale. The image is already tagged with the booking photo/mugshot rationale, and I have placed an explanation in the image's discussion page many months ago when I was requested to explain the fair use attribute. But now many months later I am being asked to provide a rationale once again. What am I missing? Jdsouza (talk) 20:46, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
