[edit] Madness

Good work on the rewrite of the Madness article. I won't be doing any more merging/splitting of sections, and now I'm just copy editing (for things like grammar, repetition, linking and stuff like that). Just for the record, on Wikipedia, the guideline is to only link a word the first time it appears in the section. Right now I'm in the "Change of Direction" section, and I think I'll take a break after that. Spylab 15:21, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip, as my profile states I'm new to editting here, and didn't know that. Glad you liked the article. Sam Orchard 16:00, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What's That

Hi,

What's that charted on week ending 11 june 1988, peaked at #92 and spent 2 weeks on the top 100 of the UK singles chart. I took that info from www.polyhex.com, which kept a record of the UK top 100 from about 1980 to 1991, hence showing lots of singles that never got to the top 75. That information has been erased from there for some reason and now only keeps the top 75 singles but I did a file with all the singles that never reached the top 75 a while ago (I had a lot of spare time at the time :P)

[edit] Hello

Thanks for the welcome. I'll see what else I can add to the Madness articles (and also try to expand some of the related articles, like Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley). By the way, how come those video screenshots are slightly letterboxed? I remember being greatly irritated at New Order's Neworderstory video, wherein they'd cropped all the videos to 14:9 to match the aspect ratio of the documentary. Is there something like that going on with the Madness videos as well? --Hence Piano 08:28, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Do you happen to know which version of "Cardiac Arrest" is on It's... Madness Too? --Hence Piano 11:22, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

It's the "happy ending / 2:54" version (The guy in the song survive). Madfan87 00:03, 25 August 2007

[edit] Nutty Forum Link

In response to what you wrote on my page, please also acknowledge this rule: "Links to social networking sites (such as MySpace), discussion forums or USENET. " You have left the Madspace link on that page, but removed mine. Adam Nicholls

The Madspace may be "Official" but you could learn a great deal more about Madness from my forum, then you could from the myspace page. I'm working real hard to make this forum THE online community for madness fans, but it seems that you'd rather stick to rules then help the fans to find each other, and discuss all things Madness. I appreciate the effort you have put into editing the Madness page here, fair play, you've done a great job at it! But it'd be nice to keep my link there, to help the fans find a new place to chat, since the closure of the smash forum.
